Generation of evidence-based research

Imagina promotes the generation of evidence- based research from a life-cycle perspective through high-level research and consultancy projects.

Generate

knowledge surrounding the development and wellbeing of children and adolescents from a life-cycle perspective with focus on the Colombian and Latin American context. For example, leading research on: the living conditions of children and adolescents; human development trajectories in the Latin American context and their local variability; living conditions in the transition to adulthood; and inequities in education and health for children and adolescents.

Conduct research

Recurrent monitoring of wellbeing indicators (poverty/inequality) of children and adolescents (using both official reports and existing databases to measure the wellbeing of children and young people) and the dissemination of multidimensional poverty indices and monetary measures.

Evaluate programs,

interventions, initiatives, strategies and public policies that promote wellbeing and positive life trajectories towards adulthood and throughout their lives.

Promote

high-level academia

Conduct

systematic reviews of scientific evidence on interventions and public policies aimed at children and adolescents.
